Yalumba, Vine Vale, Grenache Blanc, Barossa Valley, 2025
Very pale lemon with a soft green highlight. White florals dominate, hints of honeysuckle, waxy crayon, nectarine flesh, lemon shortbread, just opened lychee can and a little bit of fleshy butter. The palate is robust and structural: just-waxy phenolics to white stone fruit and white florals, with citrus and a green melon edge. Acidity and freshness keeps it lively. Possibly a tough sell, but will work wonderfully with fleshy grilled white flesh fish.
