It’s very rare to see this grape at this price point, let’s call it a gateway label to other, more complex Fiano.
Rewild, Fiano, Murray Darling, 2025
Buttercup/daffodil yellow, citrus blossom, pear flesh, hotdog bun dough, fennel and lemon drops. Carrying some varietal flesh and heft, with lees work providing creaminess mid-palate. Pear and citrus flavours with well done acidity. There’s no great length to the finish, but this is a well priced wine.
