Coeur des Sages, Le Joueur, Blanc de Blancs, Chardonnay, Burgundy, NV 

Pale lemon in colour with fast, tight beading. Fragrant with white flowers, white peach, white tea, soft brioche, green apple and a creamy café latte tilt. Definitely Chardonnay: A little malt, white stone fruit, grapefruit and lemon citrus all presented with a round mousse and a fine, tight line with plenty of crisp acidity to balance the dosage. The finish is a little short and bittersweet but there’s decent value considering its origins.
