Sourced from Wrattonbully (just above Coonawarra). Fermented and matured in older French Oak. There’s a little splash of Viognier that was co-fermented with the main PG fruit. Winemaker is Heather Fraser
La Maschera, Pinot Grigio, Limestone Coast, 2025
Pale with a touch of (inner) onion skin. The Viognier adds an apricot stone fruit element that rides over star jasmine, dill, honeysuckle, beeswax and green grass. There’s some leesy nutty funk for complexity. Carries some textural weight with the added Viognier and barrel work. The finish is bittersweet with white pepper spice and varietal green pear flesh crunchiness. Serve nice and cool with sesame prawn toasts.
