Hunter Valley, Shiraz, Andrew Margan. Need I say any more?

Margan Family Vineyard Shiraz, Hunter Valley 2014

Ripe layers of chocolate, spiced plums, camphor smoke and a suggestion of meaty pâté. Attractive up plums and sour cherry front followed by siney tannins. Some trademark Hunter Valley dustiness. A little warmer than the 13.5% ABV suggests, but handled with aplomb. Quite pleasurable.
