Time to clean out some old drafts that have been hanging around. This wine was a sample courtesy of Austin’s distributor in Sydney, enjoyed on thecouch (soon to be my bed) of a mate’s place, eating wood fired pizza after I’d just worked back to back Game Of Rhones in Melbourne & Sydney.

6Ft6, Shiraz, Geelong, 2014

Soft meaty stink, baked plums/blue plums, earthen caked dirt, soft marshmallow nose. Attractive and friendly, pepper spice tempered with a metallic straight line. It’s shiraz, with nice right hand hook turn. Plenty of fun for all players.
