The first planting of Albarino in the Hunter with the potential as being a good stable mate for regional hero Semillon. In the very capable hands of the Margan team, they’re on a winner.
Margan, Breaking Ground, Albarino, Hunter Valley 2016
Tight and salty lemon aromas, sandy rocks, potato flower and a hint of honey. Delicious mouth feel, has strength and structure. Tangy, with lime juice and lick of fruit sweeteness before spice, “minerality” and crisp acidity. Super food friendly and an exciting development for the Hunter.
RRP: $30
Alc: 11.5%
