New and old French oak for 18 months. Milk Coffee, pencil shavings, stalks, caramelised onion, black currant, fennel and nettles. Starts pretty & smooth and takes you in with black fruits before tight, small tannins wrap it all up. Still maintains a richness and integrity throughout. A savoury, elegant example with plenty of oak and fruit spice.
