Named after particularly nasty stretch of road in the Adelaide Hills.

Longview Devil’s Elbow Cabernet Sauvignon, Adelaide Hills 2013

longviewdevilselbowjpg

New and old French oak for 18 months. Milk Coffee, pencil shavings, stalks, caramelised onion, black currant, fennel and nettles. Starts pretty & smooth and takes you in with black fruits before tight, small tannins wrap it all up. Still maintains a richness and integrity throughout. A savoury, elegant example with plenty of oak and fruit spice.

RRP: $27

Alc: 14%
