Here’s what you want for $25. Licks of cherry, mocha, blueberry and coconut oak. The spirit on the nose catches you a little, but then that’s a part of the charm. Soft, fine tannins on the palate as the parts of the whole integrate seamlessly with fleshy red plum and cherry, off set with some savoury, darker fruit. The tempranillo is the ace in the hole with a blueberry and herb highlight. Not one for sitting about in cellars. Made for drinking now. Very good.

RRP: $25

Alc: 14.5%
