Risky Business ‘White Knuckle’ Chardonnay, Margaret River, 2015
Lovely flax colour with a green highlight. Navel orange pith fruit nose with barrel funk, quartzy rocks and cinnamon spice. Full palate with waxy barrel complexity and wheat biscuit. Orange flesh and grapefruit citrus fruit with the tiniest amount barley water in the background. Handy use of oak, without going over the top. An interesting diversion in the modern Australian Chardonnay roadtrip.
RRP: $25
Alc: 13%
