Taltarni based in the Pyrenees region of Victoria, also have a substantial investment in Tasmania with Clover Hill sparkling. This Fumé (Sauvignon) Blanc is comprised of 56% Tasmanian fruit sourced from the Coal River Valley and 44% Victorian fruit from the Pyrenees.

Rich creamy yellow melon, prickly nettle, subtle nut cream and passion fruit coulis. Textural, yet soft and creamy palate (lees stirring and barrel work) before smears of tropical yellow fruit and and even navel orange citrus like acidity. Some oak spice highlights before a definite sauvignon blanc green capsicum finish. Has some complexity and very much a food wine.
