Windowrie Family Reserve Shiraz 2015

Windowrie continue to push the barrow for the Cowra region and are truly starting to achieve reliable consistency with their quality.

Windowrie, Family Reserve, Shiraz, Cowra, 2015

Opens clean and inviting, with perfumed clove spice, sweet oak, warm plums, ammonia, cracked black pepper, blackberry finishing with an earthy truffle/mushroom and tobacco note. Smooth and even palate, definitely not trying to alienate the crowds. That oak gives a vanillan, choc edge before deep plummy fruit, more of that clove spice, kalamata olive and a unique almost bitter charcoal ash finish. Solid for the price.

RRP: $25
Alc: 14.5%
