This was sent as a museum release alongside current release 2012 and the impending 2014. Quite a formidable trio. Comprised of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 5% Malbec and 1% Petit Verdot. Maturation was 24 months in French oak, 50% new and 50% two years old.

Opens with a mix of hints of maturity and youth. Pencil shavings, mint, mocha, camphor, plum to hoi sin sauce, blackberry, cassis and black olive. Flavours drive on with a focused determination. Retains elegance with smooth, integrated tannin and cedary oak. Many years ahead.
