Yelland & Papps, Second Take, Mataro, Barossa Valley, 2016
Meaty, stalky, fleshy cherry/plum/herbal Throatie elements with a soft hessian quality. Full, silky forward fruit with tannin that grips the back teeth pleasantly. Layers of spiced dark fruit conserve with a toothsome finish. Dances alive and vibrantly. Flowin’ glowin’ with electric eyes. Groove is in the heart.
