The entry level pinot noir for distinguished TarraWarra Estate from the cracking 2015 vintage.
TarraWarra, Pinot Noir, Yarra Valley, 2015
Enticingly perfumed with silky cherry, soft cola syrup, crisp biscuity oak, bruised rose petals, meaty blue cheese and fresh thyme. Juicy black cherry fruit offset with blueberry and soft peppery spice. Tannin is tongue coating and neatly stitched. Even with a bit of a warm kick, it’s a wine that knows where it sits in the range. Someone has to go first…why not put a good foot forward?
