Sam Coverdale’s Even Keel started out with the intent to create drinkable, balanced and elegant wines. Along the way he created the Polperro brand to specialise in premium, single-vineyard wines from the Mornington Peninsula. The cellar door now boasts a quality restaurant and a yoga studio. Life is all about balance!

pale sunset orange. Yeah baby, dig the perfume: chalk and rocks, blood orange, strawberries, light musk, steel, fresh kitchen herb flowers. Texture man, texture: It’s a bit crunchy, it’s bit a dry, it’s a bit savoury. Focused, linear and spice driven: fruit is almost the support act with an orange bitters/Campari finish. Lingering chalky musk makes for an almost mastication tasting experience. Serious stuff.
