Made by the talented Frank Newman and Aidan Menzies of Deakin Estate fame in the North West corner of Victoria near Mildura. Attractive packaging and according to the media release, this a “White wine with attitude.” A positive one it seems.

In the glass this sits as an easy pale green with bright highlights. Break out the boat shoes and white linen. This opens with fragrant and summery aromas of clean cool steel, pear sorbet, ripe nectarines and limey citrus. Crisp, textural palate with bittersweet citrus and just enough saltiness to keep it varietal. Match with flash fried school prawns.
