Longview does indeed have a long view, right through to the water, nestled 400m above sea level. A mixture of old and new oak.
Longview, Yakka, Shiraz, Adelaide Hills, 2016
Full, plush, with spice then black asphalt before blackberry, plum, cola nut and inky blue fruit. Carries a baked cake spice and finishes with gravelly bluestone-like tannins. It’s full and dark, but a little sharp in youth and not yet quite balanced. A couple of more years in the bottle or serve with char siu pork (really)
