Leasingham, Bin 61, Shiraz, Clare Valley, 2015

Deep garnet red, with just a touch of dulling to the crimson edges. Ripe, rich and full: plums dripping with chocolate, stewing rhubarb and the slightest hint of earthy mint. Mulberry and cedary spice round out the aroma profile. All the darkness: dark fruit and dark chocolate balanced neatly. Still tightly reined in by fine tannins. A long tail of mulberry-esque fruit, tempered and cooled  by the mint. A very good wine and fine value.
