Mandala, Rosé, Cabernet Sauvignon, Yarra Valley, 2018

Such an evocative nose, filled by pomegranate, white chocolate, water melon syrup, dried pawpaw and spearmint leaf. Pleasing palate weight with plenty of red berry fruits and vanilla bean pod that carry well on a fair spine of acidity. Moreish texture and a dry finish with hints of savoury “Vegemite” yeasty darkness. A very good example of a layered, textured rosé at a decent price.
