Made exclusively for Cellarmasters by Gwyn Olsen, winemaker at Briar Ridge and Pepper Tree in the Hunter Valley. And yes, that is a prancing psychedelic unicorn on the label.
Gwyn Olsen, Rosé, Hunter Valley, 2018
No mention of grape varieties. Fresh, clean nose: sea spray, fly spray, guava and pink peppercorns. Good fruit weight and pleasing texture. Strawberries/cream richness with tropical guava, blood orange citrus and a hint of peppery spice. Not sure it’s unicorn special, but it’s well made.
