The colour a medium-rare salmon pink.  The nose an inviting and heady mix of clove spice, red currants and raspberries, vanilla pod, pink marshmallow, a touch of ruby grapefruit and light crushed tomato leaf. Generous palate from the fleshy grenache and shiraz, yet still savoury and finishing bone dry with a smoky offset. Good acidity for food pairing, it really gets the juices flowing. Bonus points for drinkability.
