94% Cabernet here with dashes of 3% each Malbec and Merlot. Sourced from the Churinga Vineyard, (north of Watervale) and only the 4th release. French oak maturation (only 20% new). Winemaker is Marnie Roberts.

Claymore Wines, Black Magic Woman, Cabernet Sauvignon, Clare Valley, 2016

Dusty, herbal, chalky, yet full of black berries yet off set with cedary, fine pencil-shavings and hints of spearmint leaf. Full, powerful, chewy. Firmly in the black spectrum of the rainbow still manages to have life brightness and balance. A long term prospect with elegance and gravitas.
