Langhorne Creek continues to punch well above its weight.
Heartland Wines, Shiraz, Langhorne Creek, 2016
Aromas of green pepper corn, coconut husk, vanilla cola, ginger beer, mulberry, tinned plums, wood fence paling. plenty of spice. Full bodied: swathes of cotton wrap tannins around the dark berry fruit, kissed with that sweet oak. Gutsy, but remains classy with a peppery spice finish.
