Burton McMahon, George’s Vineyard, Pinot Noir, Yarra Valley, 2018

Smoky toasty oak char aromas over rosewood, rose petals, roasted walnut, plum, milk chocolate and deep cherry. Plenty of pinosity on the palate: Medium bodied with fine interplay between delicate tat-lace tannins and smooth fruit. Crisp red fruit and blanketing smoky complexity round out a fine Pinot Noir experience.
