Angullong Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Four years on, fresh as a daisy and still the current release. From the cool climes of Orange, in the Central West region of New South Wales.

Angullong, Cabernet Sauvignon, Orange, 2016

Smoky tobacco, blackberry compote with black currant syrup, crushed spearmint leaf and a touch of bay tree herbal with plenty of dark chocolate. Medium bodied structure. Offers some elegance to the palate with understated fine fruit concentration and a surprisingly long tail of drying tannin, with a small lick of heat that juts out. Time should be kind considering it is still so primary.
