This is Thommo’s “Entry Level” Shiraz, but never fails to satisfy.

This is the everyday version of the Elenay by being a blend of barrel selections from across the single vineyard range. Five spice, Turkish coffee, fresh leather jacket, plum sauce, dark cherry, a touch vanilla/cola, warm toast, with Belgian choc. Displaying plenty of oomph, delivering a complete formula of spice, juicy red/dark fruits and plucky tannins. Doesn’t carry quite the layers of the single vineyard labels but punches well above its weight for the price.
