This vintage sees fruit now sourced from the Constable and Tinkler’s vineyards in Pokolbin. A cooler vintage meant slightly later than usual ripening, but produced well balanced fruit straight off the vines.

Gundog Estate, The Chase, Semillon, Hunter Valley, 2021

A near clear, very pale lemon hue with near green highlights. Refreshingly youthful Hunter nose: Lemongrass and hints of lime citrus while fresh beeswax gives a Semillon signature. Pure and tight, showing refinement of intention and execution. Near textbook HV Sem with enough latent power to age gracefully for 10 years.
