The famous Peter Lehmann brand was acquired a few years ago by Casella Family Brands (most famous for the ubiquitous [yellowtail]). Difficult to find in depth information on the label, but looks to be a retail only offering.

Deep garnet hue. Definitely Cabernet Sauvignon with cedar, cassis, dusty violets and mocha. A little black olive eventually creates a savoury interest. Chocolatey and ripe up front for a full bodied whack. Char and disjointed cassis flesh. The finish tart with hard, astringent tannin. Technically it’s fine and I’m sure it’ll fly out the door when priced appropriately.
