The famous Peter Lehmann brand was acquired a few years ago by Casella Family Brands (most famous for the ubiquitous [yellowtail]). Here the Barossa born label takes fruit from the much cooler Adelaide Hills.

Pale lemon hue. Expected and varietal mushy green melon/tropical fruit, passionfruit pulp, rolled fresh dewy grass, quinine bitterness, orange flesh and with a touch of Crème Anglaise richness. Palate holds true to the nose with bright yellow and green fruit: greengages and passionfruit. Closes with tangy and cleansing acidity. Does what it says on the label without fuss.
