The 2020 is still currently for sale on the Longview website. Proving that this is a label that definitely needs a little time to open up. Here’s a sneak peek then of the 2021:

Longview, Macclesfield, Cabernet Sauvignon, Adelaide Hills, 2021

Deep garnet hue with a ruby rim. Warm cigar tobacco, cassis, mulberry, violets, crunchy chocolate, turned earth, bramble leaf, tea cake and cedary oak. Juicy dark fruit is ably supported by proper drying elegant Cabernet tannins. Continues to grow in the glass. Feels calm and comfortable, not yelling nor growling. Solid and enjoyable.
