Bishop, Shiraz, Barossa Valley, 2020

Bruise purple hue. Slow moving legs from a quick swirl. Gunsmoke, plums, blackberry, sandalwood and licorice with soft caramel and oak spice. Tightly framed and a dark, yet supple expression of modern Barossa with plentiful firm, fine tannins and a pinprick of juicy acid focus. Lingers with echoes of spice and smoke.
