Saint and Scholar is a labour of love for Winemakers Stephen Dew and Reid Bosward (notably of Kaesler in the Barossa), the eponymous saint and scholar of the label. Plenty of bling for this release.

Assertive and floral. Nettles and gooseberry with grapefruit pith, almond meal, passionfruit seed, whipped cream, lawn clippings and ripe melon. Perky, taut and direct. Structural acidity drives balanced varietal green tinged fruit. Mid palate richness without a trace of pungency or sweatiness. Finishes with echoes of pink grapefruit through a long, detailed tail. A complete surprise packet.
