Clandestine Vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon, Frankland River, 2021
Bright purple colour. Fleshy nose of all the berries: mulberries, plums, blackberries, boysenberry ripple ice cream (noting the oak influence), bay leaf, cold tea, a touch of spearmint and cedary oak. Medium bodied with ripe, yet firm tannins. The flesh continues on the palate with dark berries providing plenty of flavour. Structured enough to drink now or in 5 years.
