Château Tanunda Grand Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

One may argue that Cabernet Sauvignon is well down the red grape pecking order in the Barossa, but it can be enjoyable and well made. This spends in 18 Months French and American Oak. Winemaker is Jeremy Ottawa.

Château Tanunda, Grand Barossa, Cabernet Sauvignon, Barossa, 2022

Grand Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep opaque garnet. Black currant and pastille, light choc mint, tobacco, fresh bay leaf, vanilla oak and soft char. Plush and forward style with plenty of up-front dark berry fruit and a good spine of fine tannins. The finish is slick with vanilla and mocha echoes. One for those who like a fuller, riper style.

RRP: $25
Alc: 14.5%
Rating: 90/100
