59% Syrah and 41% Grenache from the Freemans Bridge Vineyard in the northern area of Heathcote, central Victoria. The blend saw 15-25% whole bunches included in ferments. Before being pressed off and matured in 1000L amphora for 8 months, followed by another 8 months in 500L French oak casks.

Bright and almost cossetting: warm and wrapping with a balance of red and blue fruits: blueberry, plum, raspberry and strawberry husk, a little black obsidian mineral rock, pink peppercorns and charcuterie. Fleshy and silky. Gliding palate with neat depth underpinned by drying, fine tannin. Cool night, open fire kinda wine. Tasty.
