Taken from mature Canberra region vineyards of Wallaroo in Hall and Long Rail Gully in Murrumbateman. 12 months maturation in French oak (large format 500L puncheons) with 30% new.

Gundog Estate, Shiraz, Canberra District, 2023

Medium deep garnet in colour. White pepper pops out through damson plum, fresh oak, raspberry slice, pink salt, milk chocolate block, grilled zucchini and deep rose petal. Fleshy and opulent with a spike of that white pepper spice before closing up and leaving some grainy, fine tannins in a pucker. Neat and juicy lift for a fresh close. Will take a little time to open up fully. Tasty stuff.
