From CW Wines, now producers of long standing Coonawarra and Limestone Coast label Reschke: unmistakeable with its bull silhouette. No mention of grapes, but most likely a fair chunk of Shiraz.
Reschke, R-Series, Rosé, Shiraz, Limestone Coast, 2024
Very pale onion skin hue. Plum juice, chalk, white cherries, rose petal ash, strawberry husk and leaf, sliced white peach, cashew cream. Dry with a neat savoury, baseline. Fleshy palate offering dusty red fruit leading to sharp tangerine citrus and just a little phenolic grip. Neat match to salumi/charcuterie studded with peppercorns and fennel.
