Fruit for probably the most premium site for this blend in Australia: Margaret River, the blend of the two grapes complement each other (as made famous in Bordeaux, France). All stainless steel ferment to preserve fruit purity. Note: Bottle image is of 2023, but naught has changed elsewise.
Howard Park, Miamup, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Margaret River, 2024

Very pale with green highlights. Gooseberry, lantana, lemon curd, bramble leaf, fine ash, grilled lime, passionfruit seed, celery seed and hints of calming mineral purity. There’s a little regional fleshiness before expected freshness, zip and juicy lines. Quality of fruit shines through with the tartness of the SB and the keen angles of the Sem work well in concert, balanced and complimentary. Long considered finish.
