Full and spiced. Clove, ripe plums, dusty cocoa, steel, purple flowers, cherry Danish pastry, licorice root, formic, crayfish, soy/umami and blueberry jam. Dusty and tart. The oak gives a grippy frame while there’s a targeted, concentrated plump mid palate of those blue/black fruits. Lingering graphite and rooibos tea, cocoa and edges of chary burnt ends. Drink now with a rich beef pie.
