Hyper pale hue. Varietal tones can be smelled from across the room: Gooseberry, passionfruit cream, box hedge, green melon rind with some gunflint reduction, guava richness, campfire ash and sliced green capsicum. Defiantly and definitely Marlborough SB: That signature green tone is prevalent, yet the wine retains good balance with earthier tones. The acidity is precise and cutting to the point of intensity. Well made and fine value.
