Longview…just drink it

Good entry level blends here, with fruity front and fun back labels, these are just made for drinking.

Adelaide Hills Semillon / Sauvignon Blanc 2013

Fruity topical nose guava, banana lollies off set with good lemon skin citrus. Elements of steely minerality too provides a lovely freshness. Crisp, dry palate with more soft tropical fruits.  Medium acid and length, leaves a pleasant lingering balance of sweet/sour.
Alc: 12%

Adelaide Hills Shiraz / Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

Ripe plums and blackberries and dark choc/raspberry. Smells like sluparble red wine. Full bodied palate with soft cocoa & coconut oak. Lots of plush dark and red fruits as per the nose. Medium finish, rounded palate but not too warm even though the alcohol climbing up. A good acid spine with very fine tannins, all built for drinking now. As the back label says: “just drink it.”
Alc: 14.3%
RRP: $17

Back labels…hard to write, easy to read.

Both wines samples courtesy of Longview Vineyard
