I like seahorses. They’re kind of cool, and in this case, a pretty reliable label indicator that you’re safe to drink a glass or two of the liquid contained within the bottle. This Cabernet/Merlot blend also has the Optimum Drinking Temperature Sensor™ on the back label. Not sure how much the technology costs to put onto the label, but sure would be a talking point amongst a get together…..
Taylors Promised Land, Cabernet/Merlot, South Australia, 2015
Blackcurrant pastille, milky choc oak, nutty, ripe plums and a little bit of pencil. All cuddly and fresh faced. Plush plump black currants, damson plums. Fruit sweet and winsome. Enough tannin to make friends with food. Nothing out of place and would love a winter beef stew or a big bowl of garlicky pasta.
RRP: $15
Alc: 13.5%
