Big name wineries often complete exclusive labels to major retailers, Shingleback  have produced an almost entry level wine to the Coles group stores in Australia: First Choice, Vintage Cellars and Liquorland.

Turkish Delight and choc/raspberry notes with blue plum, blue meats, iodine and warm gravel. Sour/sweet plum and raspberry flavour profile with some unexpected chunky tannin. With a distinct slick character as it enters the palate, it feels like it turns over and wraps itself up between wanting to give fruit opulence and holding back with upfront youthful structure. Admittedly, I’m a little confused by this one. I suggest give it a quick decant before serving and it’ll deliver a McLaren Vale anthem.
