d’Arenberg The Broken Fishplate Sauvignon Blanc 2017

Part of d’Arry’s “High Altitude Hillbillies” range sourced from the Adelaide Hills.

d’Arenberg, The Broken Fishplate, Sauvignon Blanc, Adelaide Hills, 2017

Partial barrel fermentation to mark a point of difference. Brassy and grassy perfume with plenty of smoky tropical fruit, mandarin zest and betel leaf. Zippy, zesty yet maintains a generous palate. Flavours run to the orange citrus spectrum rather than being too green or grassy while the barrel ferment brings an element of complexity not often found at the price point.

RRP: $20
