Red Knot, Classified by Shingleback, McLaren Vale, 2016

Opens with chocolate and some reductive, green edges before rhubarb, 5 spice, paint/polish and plum jam. Waxy mouthfeel with sweet but stripped fruit and lean, mean tannins. Unfortunately not as good as the 2015.
