My comprehension fails to process how Mitchell are able to continually release their wines at these prices.

Mitchell, Watervale, Riesling, Clare Valley, 2017

Light gold with green highlights. Serious, intense, pulsing aromas of peeled green apple skin, rocky limes, lemon blossom and weightier leaf, medicinal herbs/quinine/fennel fronds and crushed chalk. An exemplar of textural riesling that urges further inspection. Lime kicks, dry rocks shake. The persistence of flavour is undeniable, supported by rapier clean acidity. An excellent release.
