Clairette hails originally from the south east of France, notably Provence and Rhone. Yangarra only have 0.4 hectares of the grape (certified biodynamic). Hand picked, basket pressed. Fermented in old French oak and 4 months maturation in 675 ceramic egg with regular lees stirring. Made by legend of the vine Peter Fraser. Cellar door special only.

Light gold in the glass. Brine, honeysuckle, beeswax, lemon zest and light stonefruit aromas. Assertive: minerally, tight and zesty with light tonic/quinine to the the subtle honeyed stone fruit. Long tail of delicate, tantalising precise fruit. A most delicious wine.
