Tahbilk, Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre, Nagambie Lakes, 2016
A balance of sweet and savoury aromas with expected plums, raspberry, soft turned earth, regional mint, coffee, baked red apple and just sharpened pencil. Supple and appealing. Fine, plentiful tannins with spicy black pepper and leafy mint providing highlights to the bright core of red fruits and lingering savoury meatiness. A very worthy addition to the Tahbilk line up.
